Jewellery and a safe stolen in Stalbridge burglary

HIGH-VALUE jewellery and a safe containing documents were stolen during a burglary in Stalbridge.

Officers are investigating after the thefts, from a property in Ring Street, at some time between Thursday, August 20, and Monday, August 24.

PC Jack White, of Sturminster Newton Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “An investigation is underway and an examination of the scene has been carried out.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the relevant dates to please get in touch.

“Also, I would ask residents to check their home CCTV footage for anything may help us identify who was responsible.”
