Internet firm steps in to save charity’s seaside trip for families

A TRIP to the seaside for families in the Vale was saved by an internet company.

Wessex Internet stepped in to provide funds for a trip to Weymouth for families being supported by Home-Start Blackmore Vale.

“(The funding) provided a coach trip to West Bay in Dorset,” a Home-Start spokesperson said.

“We had more than 30 parents and children attend, and they all bravely enjoyed a dip in the sea followed by an ice cream.

“Thank you Wessex Internet for our wonderful day at the seaside.”

Home-Start Blackmore Vale is always in need of more volunteers to support families. For more information, contact the office on 01258 473038, or email office@homestartblackmorevale.org.uk.
