Horse cart stolen in raid at North Dorset ‘equine unit’

POLICE are appealing for information as they attempt to track down a stolen horse cart.

The vehicle was taken from an equine unit in Witch Lane, East Stour, at some time around 2.45am on Sunday, June 1.

Electrical items, tools, horse riding gear and a four-wheel Hartland carriage picnic cart – valued at approximately £2,500 – were reported as missing after the raid.

PC Pat Wales, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquires into this incident and I have now obtained an image of the cart reported stolen in the hope someone may have seen it for sale in unusual circumstances.

“If anyone has information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
