Harts of Stur picks up top gong at London awards

HARTS of Stur has picked up a prestigious award for its cookshop expertise.

The store, in Station Road, Sturminster Newton, was named Independent Cookshop of the Year at the 2023 Excellence in Housewares Awards.

Kirsty Allen and Graham Hart collected the gong at a glittering ceremony held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, on Wednesday (October 4).

“We are over the moon to announce that we are the proud winner of The Excellence in Housewares 2023 Award for Independent Cookshop of the Year,” they said.

The pair collected the award from John Grayson, commercial director of event sponsor, Le Creuset, and comedian and host, Jake Lambert.
