Firefighters rescue person who fell down river bank in Dorchester

FIREFIGHTERS rescued a person after they fell down the river bank in Dorchester.

A crew from the town was sent to help at around 1.30pm on Saturday (September 30).

“One of our crews from Dorchester fire station worked to rescue a person after they fell down the river bank,” a Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said.

“After using specialist equipment, fire crews managed to rescue the casualty as efficiently and as quickly as possible.”
