DESCRIPTION:Held during National Walking Month\, this year’s festival promises a truly unforgettable week of walking adventures for all abilities. Once again\, you can look forward to a vibrant programme of varied and inspiring walks\, led by our fantastic team of experienced and knowledgeable volunteer walk leaders. \nThis year is set to be extra special. We’re delighted to welcome several new walk leaders\, bringing with them a selection of brand-new walks that will uncover even more of Dorset’s breath-taking landscapes\, hidden gems\, and rich heritage. From gentle strolls to more energetic routes\, there will be something to delight every walker. \nWe’re also proud to say that the festival will once again be raising funds for local charities. Proceeds from all walks will be donated to charities chosen by our walk leaders. Last year\, thanks to the generosity of our participants\, over 15 local charities benefited — our way of saying a heartfelt thank you to the community we love. \nThe 2026 program offers opportunities to immerse yourselves in history\, follow in the footsteps of local heroes\, and explore the enchanting countryside. Ticket are available for the 2026 festival now. \nEvent cost: £3-£10.

DESCRIPTION:ART in the SQUARE… bringing art outside for all to enjoy! \nTalented artists come together to showcase their amazing skills! \nCome along and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our unique outdoor arts events in the beautiful surrounding of the Market Square in the heart of our city. \nArtists from Salisbury and the surrounding area set up their ‘galleries for the day’ to showcase their fabulous work on the first Sunday of the month from March to December. \nMeet the artists! Chat to them about their style of art and love for what they create. Enjoy the best Barista Style coffee and homemade treats in Salisbury; all enhanced with wonderful Live Music from our local musicians. \nHave a Go! Try your hand with guidance from one of our talented artists. Pop along and have a go… you may just surprise yourself! All ages and abilities welcome. Paints\, paper and brushes provided. Only £5 each. \nSo if you’re an art lover\, or if you’re looking for a unique gift for someone special\, or a visitor to the city wanting to chat to some of its artists\, or would like to have a go\, this hugely popular event will provide the perfect opportunity. \nTake part!
