Driver was three times the drink-drive limit after crash in Mere, say police

THE driver of this Audi was found to be more than three times the drink-drive limit after crashing in Mere.

Pettridge Lane was closed after the crash, at around 8.30am, which ended up with the S3 on its roof in the street.

“The driver suffered slight injuries but provided a roadside breath test result of 106,” Wiltshire Police said, with the legal limit being 35.
