The property, in NW3, was built around the 1860s by carpenter William Selly, who moved to the capital around that time and built a number of properties.

Now, descendants of Selly have decided to sell the last property in his portfolio, as it needs complete refurbishment.

And the house will go under the hammer on April 27, with a guide price of £850,000.
