Dog food stolen in raid on Pets at Home in Gillingham

PETS at Home in Gillingham was targeted by burglars – and dog food stolen.

Police are investigating after an incident at the store, off Le Neubourg Way, at between 12.10am and 12.15am on Sunday (November 17).

A Dorset Police spokesperson said “a number of large bags of dog food” were stolen and the burglars are believed to have left the scene in a black BMW One Series.

PC Paul Cleal, of North Dorset police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the vicinity during the early hours of Sunday, November 17.

“I would also ask any motorists who were in the area and have dashcam fitted, to please check their footage and see if they have captured a black BMW One Series or similar vehicle around the time of the offence.”
