Disqualified driver caught with no insurance near Shaftesbury has van seized

A VAN driver had a long walk home after he was caught driving with no insurance.

Police stopped a van in the Hartgrove area of North Dorset, between Shaftesbury and Sturminster Newton, yesterday (August 7).

Officers carried out checks, which revealed the driver was actually disqualified and had no valid insurance.

The driver was reported for the offences.
