DRIVERS faced delays on the A303 this morning after a lorry overturned.
The vehicle ended up on its side on the eastbound stretch of the busy route between the A358 at Ilminster and the A356 at around 9am.
National Highways said drivers faced delays after a lane was closed to recover the vehicle.
“(Police) are in attendance and recovery will be ongoing throughout the morning,” a spokesperson said.
They said drivers faced delays of between 15 and 20 minutes to get through the stretch.
At around 4.15pm, the route was fully cleared, with traffic returning to normal.
