A CRASH has seen traffic held on the A303 near Sparkford.
The incident, on the westbound carriageway, happened before the South Cadbury turn off at around 3.30pm.
Somerset Highways said the crash saw a trailer cross the central reservation.
Traffic is backed up in both directions along the stretch, which has seen a number of incidents in recent weeks.
Drivers are being warned to expect delays between the A359 Hazelgrove Roundabout at Sparkford, to the Yarlington turn off, Wincanton.
It comes after a crash earlier this month saw two people killed (May 15).
