CCTV image issued after Gillingham Iceland worker attacked

A WORKER at a Gillingham food store was attacked after approaching a woman acting suspiciously.

Police have issued a CCTV image of a suspect after an incident at Iceland, in Station Road, at around 5.25pm on Wednesday, December 21.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said the women was acting suspiciously and was approached by a staff member.

It is reported the woman grabbed the victim by the arm and attempted to drag her up an aisle. As she left the store, she made threats toward the staff member.

PCSI Kayleigh Hole, of Dorset Police, said: “I have been continuing to carry out enquiries into this incident, which was distressing for the victim.

“I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect and would ask anyone with information about her identity to please come forward.”
