CCTV appeal after man robbed at Dorchester Currys store

A MAN took a key fob from an employee at Currys in Dorchester before making off with a number of items.

The incident unfolded at the electrical store in Weymouth Avenue at around 2.15pm on Friday, May 3.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said a man had made threats to a staff member at Currys before taking a key fob from them.

It is reported they then took several items of stock from the shelves before leaving without paying.

PC Henry Cunningham, of Dorchester police, said: “We have been carrying out various enquiries into this robbery and I have now obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him, or who has information regarding his identity, to please contact us.”
