Carols at Sturminster Newton Mill cancelled due to heavy rainfall

CAROLS at the Mill in Sturminster Newton has been cancelled.

The event, at the town mill, on Newton Hill, was due to take place on Wednesday (December 7).

But organisers said the heavy rain this week has left the venue ‘underwater’.

“We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause, and will continue to share updates as we assess the building and return the mill to good working order again,” a spokesperson for organiser, the Sturminster Newton Heritage Trust, said.
