One of the end of summer highlights of Mere’s social calendar is the annual carnival and while the colourful cavalcade was slightly different this year, the crowds flocked for their family favourite.

A host of stalls, attractions and a programme of entertainment captivated the audience who were delighted to be out and about in the sunshine to meet up with friends old and new.

Mere Carnival Committee thank everyone, all the businesses and carnival clubs who helped to make it such a good event.
