Busy Gillingham road to close for resurfacing work this month

A ROAD closure is set to be in place on a busy Gillingham road this month.

On January 31, between 9am and 4pm, Bay Road will be shut, with parking suspended at all times, for resurfacing work.

“A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section,” a notice from Dorset Council said.

The closure is allowed for up to five days, but work is expected to be completed by February 1.
