Business secretary Kemi Badenoch in Dorset for chamber Q&A

DORSET firms got the chance to hear about government policy from the Secretary of State herself this week.

Business and Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch (Con, Saffron Walden) – who is also equalities minister – took part in a Q&A session with the Dorchester Chamber on Wednesday (April 24).

She was welcomed to the constituency by MP Chris Loder (Con, West Dorset), who said: “Great to welcome the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, Kemi Badenoch MP, to West Dorset yesterday.

“It was a great opportunity to champion our small businesses in the constituency, with a Q&A session at Kingston Maurward College.”

Ms Badenoch is widely regarded as being among the frontrunners to be the next leader of the Conservative Party, having run unsuccessfully in previous contests.
