A HOMEOWNER in Bridport had their wallet and car keys stolen during an overnight burglary.
Police say entry was gained to a property in East Street sometime between 10.45pm on Friday, May 29 and 5am on Saturday, May 30.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries and appealing for anyone who may have seen suspicious activity in the area to come forward.
PC Joe Henderson, of West Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on the night of the incident, or who has any information that might assist our investigation.
“I would also urge residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras, as well as motorists with dashcam footage, to review recordings from the relevant timeframe to see if they have captured anything that could help.”
