Blandford and village surgeries closing after “sudden passing” of member of staff

A NUMBER of Dorset surgeries will close for an hour today (December 11) after sad news of the “sudden passing” of a member of staff.

The Blandford Group Practice said the Whitecliff Surgery, Child Okeford Surgery, Eagle House Surgery and the dispensary at Whitecliff and Child Okeford would be closed between 12.30pm and 1.30pm.

A notice said the closures were due to “the sudden passing of one of our patient services team”.

“If you have an appointment please still attend,” it went on. “Our team are very sad and need some time and space.

“Out thoughts are with the family and close friends at this sad time.”
