Biker suffers ‘potentially life-changing injuries’ in Yeovil crash

A BIKER suffered ‘serious leg, head and arm injuries’ in a crash in Yeovil.

The incident, involving a car and a motorbike, happened at the junction of Preston Road and Westfield Road at around 9.50pm on Wednesday, July 5.

Avon and Somerset Police are now appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage.

After the crash the motorcyclist, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious leg, head and arm injuries. He remains in hospital.

His injuries are potentially life-changing, police said.

Officers are looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision between the grey Volkswagen Polo and green and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.

They also would like anyone with dashcam of the collision to come forward.
