Biker suffers ‘life-threatening injuries’ in Yeovil crash

A BIKER was airlifted to hospital with ‘life-threatening injuries’ after a crash in Yeovil.

The incident happened on Western Avenue, at the junction with Malmesbury Way, at around 4.15pm on Thursday (August 3) afternoon.

Police are appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage of the incident, which involved a motorbike and a car.

The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment, an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“The driver of the car, a woman in her thirties, suffered minor injuries,” they added.

“If you saw this collision or have any relevant footage, please contact us.”
