Biker dies two days after suffering ‘serious injuries’ in Yeovil crash

A MOTORCYCLIST has died days after being seriously injured in a crash in Yeovil.

The man, in his 20s, was hurt after the incident, which also involved a car, in Western Avenue at the junction with Malmesbury Way, at around 4.15pm on Thursday, August 3.

He was taken to hospital but sadly, died in hospital two days later.

“A specially-trained family liaison officer is supporting the family and our thoughts remain with them,” an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said.

“The driver of the car, a woman in her 30s, suffered minor injuries.”

Police said enquiries are ongoing and urged anyone who saw the crash, or has any relevant footage, to contact them on 101 and give the reference number 5223186838.
