Arrest in probe after caravan stolen from Blandford

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the alleged theft of a caravan from Blandford.

Dorset Police officers investigating the incident, which saw a caravan taken from a property in the town at around 10pm on Friday, May 5, arrested a 37-year-old man from Salisbury in connection with the incident.

The caravan, a Tabbert Comtesse 680, was towed away using a black Mitsubishi Shogun, police said, before being recovered from Louse Lane, near Spetisbury, following a call from a member of the public reporting that it was blocking the road.

The man was arrested on suspicion of theft and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue, police said.
