UPDATED: Appeal to find missing Gillingham woman

POLICE have now confirmed they have located Louise.

A spokesperson said: “Following searches by officers, she has been located. We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal.”


POLICE are appealing to the public to locate a missing woman in Gillingham following concerns over her welfare.

Louise, 39, was first reported missing at around 7.30pm last night (October 30) after she was last seen at around 10.30am earlier the same day in Marlott Road.

She is described as five feet seven inches tall and of medium build with below shoulder dark black hair and was last seen wearing a black coat, black jeans, green trainers and carrying a small crossbody bag.

Inspector Robin Morgan, of Dorset Police, said: “We need to find Louise to make sure she is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Louise or a woman matching the description given to please get in touch.

“Louise – if you see this appeal, please get in contact with us or your family as we all just want to make sure you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Louise’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police by calling 999, with reference number 30:444.
