Pre-school reveals new name after officially joining school group

A BELOVED pre-school has a new name after becoming an official part of a village school.

Previously known as Bourton and Zeals Preschool, the facility officially became part of St George’s School, Bourton, in January.

As a result, it has been rebranded as St George’s Shining Stars Preschool, which leaders said “reflects a strong alignment with the school’s vision and values”, with the motto, ‘Where little lights begin to shine’.

Executive headteacher, Jill Farndale, said: “We are incredibly proud of how Shining Stars Preschool has settled into school life.

“Rebranding the preschool to align with St George’s School reflects our shared vision and ambition for children. The partnership is already working beautifully, giving our youngest learners the very best foundations for learning, friendships and future success.”
