“We miss him with every breath”: Family pay tribute to biker killed in crash

A FAMILY has paid an emotional tribute to a “much loved” motorcyclist who died following a crash near Gillingham.

Emergency services were called to the B3092 at Milton-on-Stour, north of Gillingham, at 2.23pm on Friday, March 20 after a collision involving a silver Peugeot 308 and a black Triumph motorcycle.

Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the rider, 32-year-old Luke Davis, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Specially trained officers are continuing to support his family, who have now spoken of their heartbreak and the lasting impact of his loss.

In a tribute, they said: “Luke, was a much loved son, brother, friend and uncle. He was a passionate biker, and he was full of adventure.

“He loved his family and friends, and was loyal to a fault. Everyone who knew him, even if it was only briefly, would remember him for his fierce adherence to fairness, truth and most of all, fun.

“He was a wonderful addition to everyone’s life, and he enjoyed every moment. We all miss him with every breath, and will, forevermore.”

Dorset Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision and are urging anyone who may have seen what happened to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to police.
