POLICE in Wimborne have reported a productive week on the streets engaging with residents and taking action to address community concerns.
The neighbourhood policing team has continued regular foot patrols around the town, stopping to speak with locals and build relationships.
Following repeated reports from residents, police issued a Community Protection Notice to an individual whose behaviour had “caused concern”.
The notice sets out specific conditions designed to prevent further issues and protect residents.
Authorities are urging anyone with ongoing concerns to continue reporting problems.
In addition to this action, PCSO Nikki carried out several reassurance visits this week, addressing anti-social behaviour and providing guidance on how to avoid falling victim to rogue traders.
“Thank you to everyone working with us to help keep the community safe,” she said. “See you around.”
The neighbourhood policing team encourages residents to remain vigilant and proactive and report incidents promptly.
