TV chef set for Dorset demo of recipes from her new cookbook

TV CHEF Radhika Howarth will be in Dorset next month for a special appearance – and to hand out some top cooking tips.

Radhika, star of the likes of Amazon Prime show The World Cook, will be sharing winter warming recipes from her debut book, Radikal Kitchen: Flavours without Borders, at The Butterfly House, Castle Gardens, Sherborne, on December 5.

The event, which starts at 6.30pm, has been organised by independent bookseller Winstone’s Books, and will include a cooking demonstration and culinary stories.

“Radhika will take the audience on a culinary odyssey across the globe, while demonstrating a selection of fusion recipes from the cookbook,” a spokesperson said.

“Showcasing her experimental style, which marries the flavours of the East and West to create dishes like Tandoori Patatas Bravas and Tomato Tadka Burrata Salad, Radhika will talk about the impact of culinary osmosis as she takes inspiration from tradition, fusion and flavour.”

Tickets cost £5 and are available from Winstone’s Books, in Cheap Street, or online at wintstonebooks.co.uk.

Doors open at 6.30pm and free refreshments will be provided by The Walled Garden Restaurant.
