Classic Coopers coming to Charterhouse

Two classic Mini Coopers are coming to the Charterhouse classic car auction at The Haynes International Motor Museum next month.
Richard Bromell said: “With more than 5.3 million classic Minis made they are still a regular sight on our roads. However, it is the rare Cooper versions which command the most money.”
In the Charterhouse auction are two very different classic Mini Coopers.
First is a 1965 Morris Mini Cooper. It has been owned for the past 40 years and has spent 35 years on display at The Haynes International Motor Museum. It is estimated at £18,000-20,000.
Next is a 2001 Mini Cooper S. This is one of the last 50 John Cooper Works Minis produced and is number 14 of the 50. With under 13,000 miles and just two loving owners from new, this is estimated at £23,000-25,000.
Charterhouse is now taking further entries for this classic car auction on 6 July and its classic motorcycle auction on 29 June. Mr Bromell can be contacted on 01935 812277.
