UPDATE: Missing David Anderson has been found, say police

UPDATE: David Anderson, who was reported as missing, has been found.

Dorset Police said, following enquiries and searches by officers, he has now been located.

“We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal,” a spokesperson said.


A 42-YEAR-OLD man has gone missing after he was last seen in Gillingham.

David Anderson was last seen at around 6pm on Thursday (August 24) in Shaftesbury Road, near Henstridge, travelling in a white Seat Ibiza with the registration number DE14 NPU.

He is described as 6ft tall, of large build, with shaved hair and a goatee. David was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and grey shorts.

Inspector Craig Tiernan, of Dorset Police, said: “We are concerned for David’s welfare and need to find him to ensure he is safe and well.

“I would urge anyone who has information regarding David’s whereabouts, or who comes across the vehicle detailed above, to please contact us immediately.

“Also, I would like to make a plea directly to David if you see this – please get in touch with us or your family as we all just want to check that you are okay.”
